Welcome to my website! This is the place where you clicked to find out who I am and what it is I do.  As a friend of mine says, that sounds a little self-inflated, but after all, that is why you came to the site, so here goes . . .

What can I tell you about me?  Well, I am a Christian.  And, because that title has taken on so many meanings these days, what I mean is that I am a follower of Jesus Christ.  My only desire is to bring glory to His name by the words that I speak and in the things that I do.  I've been a follower of Jesus since I was twenty years old, and just how long ago THAT was is totally irrelevant, but let's just say it was a while ago . . . wink.

In case you want to know any really personal stuff about me, I'm a junk food junkie, I like sweet tea, coffee that tastes like dessert, and dark chocolate, Yum!  I'm a big fan of John Sherrill Band, Heroes and American Idol, and I never, ever, ever watch scary movies because I'm a big chicken!  I LOVE my new church www.woodsedge.org.  They are such an incredible group of praying, authentic people.   But without a doubt, the best thing about me is the wonderful man I've been married to for 25 years and the two great sons that we have who are in college in Texas.

As the founder of Out of the Box Resources, I get to travel around the country helping churches, children's pastors, and volunteer leaders take their children's ministries to the next level!  When I'm not consulting, I get to speak at women's conferences, retreats and camps.  The great thing about both of these is that I get to talk and teach, my two favorite pastimes!
